🅿️ Parking:
New Orleans Square has multiple parking spaces available. The northwest quadrant is reserved for the festival and disabled parking. Disabled parking can be accessed from New Orleans Street. We asked that you do not park on the side of road. Also, this year, there will be an area at Arrow Heights Baptist Church for rideshare pickup and drop off.
🪑 Seating:
All areas of New Orleans Square offer a great view for watching the fireworks. We encourage you to bring chairs and blankets to watch them. Strollers and wagons are also welcome.
🐕 Pets:
We discourage bringing your pets to the festival. According to the American Kennel Club, pavement can be incredibly hot for dog’s paws and cause damage. In addition, the smell, noise and flashes of light from fireworks can cause anxiety. Access to water will also be limited. It is also against City Ordinance 2067 to bring a dog to an assembly of over 1,000 people. This does not apply to police dogs used in law enforcement, or as an aide to a person with a hearing or slight disability.
🚧 Road Closure:
The intersection of New Orleans and Elm will close at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 28 and open at 11 p.m. It will then close again at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 29 and open at 11 p.m. Access to the northeast, southwest and southeast parking lots will be available. Disabled parking is available in the northwest quadrant.
